Hi everyone, welcome to the Web Host Reviewers. In this video we’ll be taking a quick look at inMotion hosting. Click the link in the description underneath this video to have a look at our more in depth review. Don’t forget to like and subscribe.

Whether you are migrating from another hosting company, or starting a brand new site, there is not many web hosts out there that will give you more bang for your buck than InMotion hosting. InMotion claim to be number 1 in transfers, claims to have the number 1 support team stating that they had over 20,000 compliments in 2014. As a result, InMotion also claim an overall number 1 position in the entire industry.

InMotion seems to be doing a great job in backing up these claims by providing a great product with a great service which has earned them one of the top spots amongst several other web hosting services.

InMotion’s business hosting consists of plans they call ‘Launch’, ‘Power’ and ‘Pro’. InMotion services are very flexible and economical.

The Launch package which is the company’s cheapest plan has managed to be one of the most appreciated hosting packages that the company offers as far as shared hosting is concerned. Irrespective of the type of account you hold, you are free to manage up to two sites with InMotion. In addition, you are also allowed to host a maximum of 6 parked domains and 25 subdomains.

Do not be fooled by the term ‘unlimited’ though – something that InMotion uses a lot throughout their website. This is simply a marketing term used to make a hosting service appear better than it actually is. Some hosting companies will say that they don’t meter your usage of their services, which is true to an extent, but once you reach or exceed what they call ‘normal’ usage, your service risks suspension or even deletion.

This can be a nightmare, and in our opinion isn’t worth the hassle just to save a few dollars. Although it’s not bad to see ‘unlimited’ bandwidth and/or disc space, it’s still important to be aware that you might be limited with what resources you are using and also that there will be potentially massive implications if you exceed these limitations.

There is no doubt that the company has absolute confidence in its product given that it offers the industry’s longest money back guarantee that lasts for a period of 90 days. No other web host that we know of provides this kind of assurance. And if it so happens that you choose to cancel your account with InMotion, you are certainly never going to experience any hassle with it’s sales staff about the cancellation process. The only fee that will not be refunded is the initial $15 you paid for your domain, apart from this; all other products will be refunded without question.

One of the best web hosting services InMotion offers to its customers is its unwavering customer service support. The company provides unrestricted phone, email and chat support on a 24/7 basis. In addition to its rich knowledge base, video tutorials and FAQs, InMotion provides a highly interactive user forum where customers come to interact and ask important questions.

We think InMotion are an extremely desirable hosting company and we highlight recommend them!

I was literally on the sign up screen To get get hosting for WordPress I am glad I read these comments before I purchased a year of hosting

Mark Avery says:

I gave them a shot, hated them.
The support sucked, and was slooooooooow! (chat) Phone was reasonable with wait time, but the person I got was not good.
Was never able to get FTP working and the cPanle file manage was screwing up file permissions. This review says that they are inexpensive. They are not bad, but I found them to be the most expensive of all the hosts I was working with.

Jason Folker says:

I am dealing with them constantly having issues with my accounts. As a background I am a web design, SEO optimization, and Hosting Reseller for 10+ YEARS. On a almost daily basis I am working on client websites on my hosting accounts. I thought the SSD (solid state hard drives) and their promise for high speed looks good. TOTALLY REGRET TRYING THEM…. Constant problems with speed issues. WAY SLOWER then my other accounts. 500 Server Errors, Time Out Errors, Plugin Errors, etc. HORRIBLE SUPPORT. I send them detailed support tickets with Screen Captures and Direct comparison tests between EXACT COPIES of website on my other hosting and their hosting. EVERY ACCOUNT IS SLOWER. They send me an “COPY AND PASTE” email response that I need to optimize my website. Not even addressing my other issues with all the errors I have on every single account. I just sent a huge email asking for a manager to look into the issues. I will update on here if they actually fix the problems or not. If this is how they treat a client on their Highest Package they offer. Image how they treat the little hosting packages.
