OpenClonk | Free & Open Source Game | Game Review

OpenClonk is a 3D platformer similar to Terraria with elements from Minecraft and the Settlers thrown in.

OpenClonk is such a unique game because there’s no game on the market that is very similar to it. Many Open Source games attempt to emulate or copy popular games but OpenClonk is really its own thing.

I compared it to Terraria a lot but there are many obvious differences between OpenClonk and Terraria. I guess it is very similar to Minecraft too but it shares the 2D-style platformer gameplay that Terraria has.

If you in to Mac or Linux gaming haven’t played OpenClonk, I strongly recommend trying it out. It’s one of the best free PC games out there.

I played this game a looooong time ago and had pretty much the same issues as you, The auto-grappling was my biggest complaint. Never really cared for it because of that one Siege gamemode was so hard.
