Dropbox Review 2016 | Find The Right Cloud

This video is a part of our video series to help you find the right cloud service. In this video series, we are comparing Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive and Amazon Cloud Drive.

Coming to Dropbox, we have to mention that it is one of the oldest and the strongest cloud storage competitor in the market right now. While all the other services we are comparing just provide cloud as an extra service, for Dropbox, cloud is their bread and butter.

With great file syncing speed and smooth interface, Dropbox does seem like a clear winner from a distance but, is it? The service definitely falls short if you are looking for real time collaboration. Though the collaboration with Microsoft Office is definitely helpful.

But at the end, it all comes down to speed. We have discussed the syncing speed of Dropbox in detail in the video. Hope it helps you out. And if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below and we will help you out.

If you think Dropbox isn’t what you are looking for, check out our other reviews from our list.

Don’t forget to give a thumbs up and subscribe!

It’s like I understand all the words you’re saying, but it still sounds like chinese to me. You should make a tech talk for non-native speakers. 🙂 I’ll keep watching and hopefully I’ll catch on.

I have a client who has an office with 4 computers. All of them will need to share the same files. Can i just use one dropbox account across those 4 pc’s?

Hi Mauricio,
Thank you for cloudwards reviews and videos. They are great and so helpful.
I tested to send a folder to Dropbox (via web interface) and now it accepts this task. I think the web interface is the best one of all services I have tried. (sync, jotta, etc). Maybe Onedrive is good as Dropbox. We can just click and drag one file/folder to another folder. Very intuitive and easy. But I’m not sure with Dropbox is the best service to me. I don’t want to change my folders structure and don’t want problems with deleted files or conflicted copies.
I think Jottacloud backup service help me about it. I can upload and restore and another computer.
So, thank you again and I hope I could help about this new feature about Dropbox interface.
If you have some advice to me it will be awesome.
