Hello Sir,

I work in basic personal computer, internet and basic networking support. Normally on day to day basis I provide technical support on any computer related issues or home networking based, windows, mac, email related issues pop/imap etc. I understand the concept of cloud computing clearly but I don’t have any experience in it. I have offered dashboard navigation training for a cloud app, for how to related issues. I have masters in Management from a Canadian University, however I am stuck in Technical Support jobs due to some reason. My friend recommended me AWS Certification and I doing my research to know more about it. I am quite lost whether I should learn and test for AWS. Please help me understand this and by answering these questions: 1) Do you think I should know any technology, or language beforehand as a pre-requisite before starting AWS? 2) Do you recommend that I develop some certain skills before learning AWS? 3) What skills would you recommend me to develop? 4) Do I need to be skilled in any other certain technologies to be able to get job associated with Cloud Architect or DevOPS? Please help me by showing the direction. I appreciate your help in Advance. ThanksI have added a link to my Linkedin Profile in case you would like to look at my skillset: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chandandeepsingh/

There’s a catch here. Based on my experience you don’t get picked up and given a job in new technologies such as Cloud without certifications. You say there’s no value in doing certifications without experience. So except those kucky few who get job without certs, everyone else should give up on entering the cloud domain?
